Cover Analysis

The title of my cover for a college magazine in ENSFC (East Norfolk Sixth Form College). This title shows that this college magazine is from East Norfolk. My magazine is aimed at an age range of about 16-18. I have only used three colours which are red, yellow, and blue. I could of used better colours considering my black and white background or i could of left my image in colour to make the colours match more the image. I have used a friend of mine in this image as she is the same age as me and at an age where she would be in a college. To me she is the right candidate for this cover. I have placed around her in this image other magazines to emphasise a teenager’s life. This represents what teenagers will do i their spare time. In my image i have allowed the reader to be able to explore the image. For me i look at the model first and then i notice the magazines around her, and then after that i would look at the title and the headlines to see what this magazine contains. A disadvantage of my front cover would be that nothing really stands out and catches your eye. I chose a low angle shot and even though it is a mid-shot it contains her entire frame.
