This contents page is from the Q magazine. This contents page is very informative. It has a section just for reviews, this can help the reader find exactly what will interest him and it would take long just to find it on the contents page. They have a headline say ‘EVERY MONTH’; this informs the reader what will be in every issue. In my research I have found that the colours that are represented on here are what you would find on the front cover on Q magazine. There are two images on the contents page but one main image and this is shown as it is larger than the other. Having one image larger than the other is implying that this feature is more important or something that is different to what is normally in the magazine. The smaller image is about reviews (music guide) which you can find in most music magazines so this does not make this a feature in this magazine. They have features and then they have things that are in every issue but on this contents page there is a ‘OASIS SPECIAL!’ which is something that will only be in this issue, it is also put in a different colour to separate it from the other features. This contents page contains many features that do not just relate to music. It has things like crosswords, ‘cash for questions’ and the ten commandments. This makes the reader know that this is not a music based magazine although around 80% is about music.
